Impel MCC sign an EPC contract with Nigeria AVA about building a cement manufacturer with daily 1,200 ton cement output
Nigeria is located in the Southwest of West Africa. The south of Nigeria is the Gulf of Guinea; the west of Nigeria is Benin; the north of Nigeria is Niger; the southeast of Nigeria is the Lake Chad; the east and southeast of Nigeria is Cameroon. The coastal line of Nigeria is 800 kilometers. Nigeria has tropical monsoons climate with high temperature with frequent raining, the whole year can be divided into dry season and rainy reason and the yearly average temperature is about 26-27 'C. Nigeria has the largest population in Africa with 250 difference nationalities. The official language is English.
In Edo state of Nigeria, MCC is the EPC for the AVA Cement Limited Liability Cooperation with 2,500 ton clinker cement assembly line (First stage of product lines can reach 1,200 ton daily output) The EPC including exploring, design, procurement of equipment, civil engineering and installation, training, output measurement, etc. The contract include limestone and gypsum mining area, assembly line of daily 1,200 ton clinker cement and male shop facilities , 10 MW gas electricity self-backup generator, external 55 kilometer gas pipe line and 15 kilometer water supply pipe line. The period of this project is 30 months, start from October 9th 2007. Now the project is in civil engineering.
This project is the largest foreigner project for MCC in Africa and it is also the first EPC contract for MCC since it was established. It is the milestone for MCC in developing international markets, expanding non-iron non-steel markets, and exploring EPC contract project.
